You may also travel by sea from Coron to El Nido.

If you are flying to Lio Airport in El Nido, Cauayan’s airport representative will be waiting outside of the terminal exit. There will be a 20-minute van ride to El Nido Pier, followed by a 20-to-30-minute speed boat transfer to Cauayan Island Resort depending on the tide.

Boat Transfer Schedule

Please be advised that Cauayan Island Resort operates on a set schedule for boat transfers, which applies to arrival and departure guests only. For safety reasons, flights arriving beyond 4:00 PM are not advisable, as boat transfers are subject to the Philippine Coast Guard’s night navigation restrictions. Additionally, a flight from El Nido at 7:00 AM is not advisable, as we require guests to leave the resort at least 3 hours prior to the scheduled flight.

Should the arrival or departure time fall beyond the set transfer schedule and be approved by the Philippine Coast Guard, please be informed that additional charges will strictly apply to your personal account:

• PHP 3,500 for a private van
• PHP 6,000 for a private boat

While we endeavor to adhere to the published schedule, boat transfer timings may still be adjusted due to unforeseen circumstances, including flight delays, weather conditions, or additional operational requirements. Cauayan Island Resort is not liable for any unforeseen changes in airline flight schedules that may lead to missing the final boat schedule. Additionally, in the event of adverse weather conditions resulting in the suspension of boat transfers, any unused reservations/nights will be forfeited. Nevertheless, our team will be on hand to help you organize your accommodation in El Nido town. Please note that the payment for this arrangement will be the responsibility of the guests.

Puerto Princesa to El Nido
El Nido is also accessible by land from Puerto Princesa City. It takes approximately 4 to 5 hours to travel by land.
